AMERICA250PA SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
Pennsylvania Day is an annual observation celebrated on July 20th. America250PA is celebrating Pennsylvania Day by partnering with York County Food Bank and other food banks across the Commonwealth and the Feeding Pennsylvania initiative to package over 8,000 boxes of food for Pennsylvanians in need. York County Food Bank needs 35 volunteers on July 20th from 8 AM – Noon (maybe till 11:30 so you can get to Rotary). Sign up at: https://forms.gle/ei5jiyZf9cp2XPvdA and join PA’s effort to celebrate the Semiquincentennial of the USA!
SCOUTING FOR NEW PLAYERS
Have you been SCOUTing for great PLAYERS to BUILD OUR TEAM? During June and July, each time a member brings a guest to a meeting, they will be entered into a drawing for a pair of tickets to your choice of a Philadelphia Eagles home game, Baltimore Ravens home game, or a Penn State home game. Tickets have been generously donated by FOX43. This is a great way to introduce the club to people who might be potential new members!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP KIDS LEARN HOW TO FISH
The Educational/Vocational Guidance Committee is looking to
teach kids from York City how to fish and we need your help to make it a
success. Three free sessions will take place at Kiwanis Lake on July 23, August 6 and August 13 from 8:30am-11:00am.
If you are interested in being a volunteer for one or all three of these sessions, please contact Ashlee Etzweiler at etzweilerfh@outlook.com.
