PROGRAM: "Impact of Diversity in the 21st Century"
Ronald Harris is vice president of diversity and inclusion for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. In this role, Ronald is responsible for cultivating a corporate culture where diversity and inclusion are aligned with the company’s corporate strategy and values. Ronald frequently serves as an expert speaker at business functions and conferences nationwide on diversity topics that impact the workplace. His presentations address issues such as generational diversity, disability awareness, stereotypes, effective cross-cultural communication, religion in the workplace and the business case for diversity. The virtual program will be presented live.

Youth Leadership Students of the Month, Mia Johnson and Sergio Paul, from York Academy Regional Charter School, will be recognized at today’s meeting.
CONGRATULATIONS to Member Emeritus PP Jack Hankle and Rotarian Tom Barton on the recent wedding of their children, Jennifer Hankle and Jonathan Barton. Jonathan was a former outbound Youth Exchange student to Japan, sponsored by this club. Both Tom and Jack have been very active members of the Youth Exchange Committee over the years.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE NEWS- The RCY Board of Directors has approved, and our club is now offering, a Hybrid Membership. This membership has been successfully introduced in other service clubs. It expands growth in our service to community and removes barriers to membership increasingly told to us by professionals who are unable to commit fully as an active member but want to participate in Rotary.
• NEW MEMBERS only with virtual focus
• Commit to 50% attendance and committee service
• Pay $300 application fee, reduced quarterly dues (no meals), attend new member orientation, join a committee, engage with the Club.
• After 6 months of membership with mentor & monitoring, may change to Active (full) membership if they choose to
