Preserve Planet Earth Committee member Leigh Ann Wilson  was featured on Fox 43 news (https://www.fox43.com/article/news/local/york-first-city-zero-plastic-waste/521-27fd8dcd-be8c-4bc0-b31c-f5dcb73606b2) as Mayor Michael Helfrich announced a goal to make York, PA, a city with zero plastic waste.

 

The Rotary club of York is an early partner with CRDC, a York company that collects all types of plastic to recycle into material used in concrete building materials.  Our club, under the leadership of Leigh Ann and the Preserve Planet Earth Committee, coordinates a convenient monthly collection of plastic waste at our meeting place for club members.
