Penn State Holocaust, Genocide, Human Rights Education Initiative

We hear from Boaz Dvir, Director of the Holocaust, Genocide and Human Rights Education Initiative at Penn State. This initiative helps educators teach difficult topics at a time when the need for such instructional support is greater than ever, yet almost missing. 

The Initiative recently completed its pilot year, which included a partnership with the Red Lion school district in York County. Around the state, the Initiative has gone from one to six district partnerships and is exploring collaborating with half a dozen more.
