Phil Wenger,Lancaster Conservancy, Rotary Club of York, PA, Meeting 10/12/2022
We head from Phil Wenger, President of Lancaster Conservancy, an organization that protects and restores natural lands for future generations. Since their founding in 1969, the Conservancy has saved over 8,000 acres of land and manages the lands they own in 50 nature preserves. Their preserves, located in Lancaster County as well as along the Susquehanna River in York County, provide opportunities for passive recreation like hiking, fishing, hunting, and swimming.
