Rotary returns to WellSpan Park for our pre-season program with the York Revolution. Revolution President Eric Menzer fills us in on what's new for the Revs' as they launch their 17th season, and Atlantic League President Rick White brings news from the Atlantic League on the changing landscape of partner league baseball, including the launch of a new team in Hagerstown, Maryland. Then, it's time to welcome back Revs Manager Rick Forney, who introduces us to the 2024 version of York's hometown team.

A buffet luncheon and fellowship beginning at 11:30am will be followed by our club meeting in the 1741 Club.

Can the reign continue? Meghan Shue, Head of Investment Strategy & Portfolio Construction for M&T Bank’s Wilmington Trust, examines the 2024 Capital Markets Forecast: U.S. Economic Exceptionalism.

Meghan helps manage the end-to-end asset allocation process, develops market research, and communicates the investment team’s market outlook and positioning to clients and prospective clients. The U.S. has typically been able to shake off its cyclical economic troubles and power forth into a fresh expansion. This time around, it may be more challenging to emerge victorious.

Horn Farm

Executive Director Alexis Campbell shares the Horn Farm Center’s exciting plans for preserving, restoring, and transforming the historic farmhouse building into a community gathering and learning center.

For the last 20 years, the Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education has been a source of nutritious food, farm-based learning, and creative place-making within our community. In October 2021, tragedy struck the Horn Farm Center when their historic farmhouse was hit by lightning and damaged by fire. Since then, the organization has been hard at work: recovering its operations, reimagining its facilities, and continuing to carry out its mission, serving over 5000 visitors each year.

Welcome to the Rotary Club of York on behalf of myself, our board, and nearly 300 members who serve the York community. Our Rotary club is unique not only in the fact that we are a large club but also in our ever-diversifying membership. Our club is rich with traditions and Rotary values while adapting and responding to the changes we see in the world and our community.

The Rotary Club of York is a collection of community leaders who work together to serve and support various causes and initiatives in York City as well as around the world. Some of our focuses include the environment, children & youth as well as responding in times of crisis. We believe in service above self as we strive to be the best stewards in our community and improve our leadership both as a club and as individuals. If service and leadership resonate with you, perhaps you should consider learning more about our Rotary Club of York.

The strength of our club comes not only from our service but from the networking and program opportunities that we offer. Quite frankly, we are second to none in these categories. But for me, I have found that the Rotary Club of York has done more for me, both personally and professionally, than any other organization I serve with and it is a privilege to return that service as its president. We welcome many guests to our programs each week and I would personally like to extend that invitation to you. Come join us and see what all the excitement is about.
