For the last 20 years, the Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education has been a source of nutritious food, farm-based learning, and creative place-making within our community. In October 2021, tragedy struck the Horn Farm Center when their historic farmhouse was hit by lightning and damaged by fire. Since then, the organization has been hard at work: recovering its operations, reimagining its facilities, and continuing to carry out its mission, serving over 5000 visitors each year. Executive Director Alexis Campbell will share the Horn Farm Center’s exciting plans for preserving, restoring, and transforming the historic farmhouse building into a community gathering and learning center. |
